Summit County's Resource for Recycling
Did you know that more than 60% of what is thrown away could be recycled? The majority of trash may be considered to be a “resource” that can be used and not wasted or buried in a landfill. Recycling allows our resources (trash) to be used to their full potential.
Summit/Akron Solid Waste Management Authority (SASWMA)’s mission is to provide Summit County residents and businesses the opportunity to participate in recycling and waste diversion programs.  Click here to view the flyer which details the many programs offered by SASWMA.

FREE Quit-Smoking classes are offered by the Summit County Tobacco Prevention Coalition at locations throughout the county.  All classes are free of charge, but pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register, please call (330)861-7179.
